I grew up in north Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona. My family always supported my lifelong committment to art. Upon graduation from high school, I left Arizona for Baltimore, Maryland, to study at the Maryland Institute College of Art. While at MICA I have honed my skills as both a fine artist as well as a graphic & web designer. My design portfolio can be viewed at design.christinericks.com.
In May 2008 I will receive my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting with a concentration in Graphic Design. I plan to continue to reside in Baltimore with my significant other, designer & MICA classmate Tim Mason, for the forseeable future. Baltimore has been a drastic and much-appreciated change in scenery for me, and I enjoy living in the city.
